Business setup with Servefast Advisory

Secure residency in one of the top-ranked cities in the world.

Find out why we are such a trusted resource for Europeans looking to establish a presence in Dubai.

Through the work we do for our clients we have had the opportunity to get to know countless people who have either moved to Dubai and left their home countries behind, or have secured residency and now divide their time between here and wherever back home is. What they all have in common is their appreciation for how much Dubai has to offer. This world-class coastal city is a perfect home for families and individuals.

Being able to call Dubai and the UAE home starts with securing a residency visa. Although there are several paths to getting your visa – including via investment – the most common by far is through company formation. This is how over 95% of our clients do so – and this also allows them to secure visas for their dependants so long as certain conditions are met. Through our relationships with key government agencies, we will guide you through the entire process, managing all of the heavy lifting for you.

How Servefast Advisory helps you
secure your residency

Once you have your business license you can apply for your residency visa. The process can take up to 10 working days, with an option to fast track, and you will need to be in the UAE during this period. Servefast Advisory will provide a dedicated account manager to guide you during the entire process and provide regular updates throughout.

Submission of documents

Once all forms are correctly filled and necessary documents presented to us, we will submit to the relevant government authorities.

Medical test

You will be required to do a very quick medical test. Servefast Advisory will provide you with details of where in Dubai to carry this out.

Emirates ID card

Once your visa has been approved we will help you secure your Emirates ID. With this in hand, you can now open your corporate bank account.

Renewing your visa

Your visa will be valid for two years. Servefast Advisory will send a reminder 90 days in advance of your expiry date so we can begin the renewal process.

With residency visa in hand you have many options

There is no requirement that you live in the UAE once you have secured your residency visa. As long as you visit at least once every 180 days, your visa will stay active. One thing is clear, though, a Dubai residency visa gives you options – such as securing dependency visas for family members, building your business and network in the UAE and wider region, and benefiting from a highly favourable tax system. Perhaps the greatest benefit though is the wonderful experience of living here itself. Dubai is a warm and welcoming city with an energy that drives success and a happiness that takes hold of you.

We encourage our clients to spend a good amount of time networking here. Only then will the true potential of this opportunity reveal itself. Servefast Advisory supports in this respect by making introductions wherever possible, as well as by providing access to our partner network which can assist in accelerating your business and financial goals for the region. This partner network also extends back to Europe, where our financial and legal network is there to offer advice on how European nationals are able to maximise their tax position while ensuring full legal compliance at all times. Building is done with a team, and the building of your team starts with us.

Frequently asked questions

If I secure residency through company formation can I also get visas for my family members?
Yes you can. As long as you meet certain financial and accommodation requirements, you will be able to sponsor your spouse, children and parents.
Is Dubai an expensive city?
With a family, Dubai can indeed be quite a costly city to live in. Larger accommodation requirements, school fees, activities – these can all add up. But salaries are higher here and there is no income tax, so with prudent budget management it is very possible to keep overall costs within comfortable boundaries. For singles or couples without children, Dubai is a very easy place to navigate financially.
Is the UAE a secure country?
Yes, the UAE is one of the safest countries in the world, with very low crime rates. It is an ideal place to live and raise a family. Furthermore, the UAE enjoys tremendous political stability. It is known for its proactive diplomacy, maintains strong and strategic international relations, and is firmly positioned as a key diplomatic and economic hub for the region.
Is the standard of healthcare and education high in Dubai?
Yes, Dubai offers a very high level of healthcare and education, with both sectors well-regulated to meet top global standards. The city has modern hospitals with advanced technology, and highly skilled doctors and medical staff from all over the world. In terms of education, Dubai is very strong, with a variety of international schools including British, American, IB, French, German, Italian – and many others.
Is it easy for expats to socialise and have fun in Dubai?
Absolutely. Dubai is one of the most entertaining cities in the world. From beautiful beaches to sports clubs to bars to top restaurants, there is no shortage of social activities. It is just about impossible to feel lonely in Dubai, and regardless of where our clients come from they all tend to feel very much at home here.
