At the Dubai Business Forum–Germany held in Hamburg in May, around 240 German business leaders engaged with Dubai’s Economic Agenda (D33) to explore opportunities across advanced industries, digital transformation, clean energy, and trade.
The forum highlighted a rise in non-oil trade, with bilateral commerce reaching $10.8bn in 2024, an 8% increase year-on-year. Meanwhile, membership of German companies in the Dubai Chamber surged by 64% in 2024, reaching 2,719 active German firms in Q1 2025.
The event reinforced Dubai’s reputation as an innovation-focused, investor-friendly business centre.
